Your Role: The Hub of Our Service Department
As the Service Writer, you’ll be the primary point of contact between customers and our technicians. You’ll ensure clear communication, accurate documentation, and a smooth service experience from drop-off to pick-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and manage repair orders
- Schedule service appointments
- Communicate repair updates via phone and email
- Obtain approvals for additional recommended work
- Process factory warranty claims
- Invoice and code vendor/sublet charges accurately
- Receive and organize parts inventory
- Assist walk-in customers with service parts and Pro Shop sales
- Support other departments as needed — we work as one team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Experience in customer-facing administrative roles
- Proficiency with Excel and Outlook
- Lightspeed EVO experience (a plus, not required)
- Interest in marine products (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (ability to tow boats is a plus)
- Ability to climb in and out of boats when necessary
- Willingness to relocate to Audubon, MN before start date
