Minnesota Inboard Water Sports is looking for a full-time Administrative Service Advisor for our Brainerd Service Department. Duties include assisting customers on the phone and through email, as well as assisting with the administrative needs and operations of the Service Department. Qualified candidates will have strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate with our customers and team in a positive manner. An understanding of the products we sell and service is a plus. This is a high volume, fast-paced position where the ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in high pressure jobs.
Daily duties include but not limited to:
- Recording of vendor and sublet invoices, categorizing to appropriate repair order or cost category
- Receiving of parts inventory and stocking of parts
- Processing of factory warranty claims
- Assisting customers on the phone and through email with their various service needs
- Writing Repair Orders, scheduling service appointments, billing and electronic filing
- Communicating with customers on the status of their boat repair or service, including ready to pick up
- Communicating with customers to obtain approvals to perform additional services on their boat as noted by the technician
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment is essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- General understanding and interest of products we sell and service
- Ability to understand what customers are looking for and communicate effectively with them
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in order to keep up with a demanding schedule
- Experience in customer facing administrative roles with a high attention to detail and organization
Skills:
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail, and a self-starter
- Proficient with excel and e-mail
- Lightspeed EVO management software a plus
- Ability to learn quickly, strong work ethic, and great follow up
